The National Youth Service Corps has announced that corps members in the 2025 Batch B Stream II will formally pass out from national service on Thursday, 3 September 2026, marking the conclusion of their one year mandatory service to the nation.

The announcement was made in an official statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, through the scheme's official communication channels on Monday.

The Corps directed all corps members in the outgoing batch to take note of the date and make necessary arrangements ahead of the pass out ceremony. Employers of corps members and other stakeholders connected to the scheme were equally urged to be guided by the announced date.

"All Corps Members, Employers and other stakeholders of the Scheme are enjoined to take note of the date," the statement read.

In a further directive, the NYSC confirmed that Certificates of National Service would be distributed to passing out corps members on the same date. The distribution, however, will not take place at orientation camps or state secretariats but at the Local Government level, requiring corps members to liaise with their respective local government inspection officers ahead of the ceremony.

"Certificates of National Service would be distributed to Corps Members on the scheduled date at the Local Government level," the statement added.

The pass out date marks a significant milestone for the 2025 Batch B Stream II, who will transition from active service to alumni status upon the conclusion of the ceremony on 3 September 2026.
